Anton Pissens founded his paper mill in 1919 and opened its doors in Leuven. In 1927, the Meurrens family joined the company, giving birth to the name PACAPIME, referring to both the paper and corrugated board business and the Pissens-Meurrens management. The entire infrastructure and machines were destroyed during the war. Pacapime then moved to what is now known as Halle.

Most of the machine fleet suffered considerable damage during a fire in 1976. The positive consequence of this is a complete modernization of the systems used in production, which led to an explosive increase in production in the late 1970s.

In the early 1980s, a third generation took over the board: Tony, Ludo and Paul Pissens. Continuing to invest in state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and as a result of working with the Escort Group, PACAPIME has made another explosion.

In 1998 it became possible for PACAPIME to become one of the main suppliers to European manufacturers. This success led to another major investment in 2002. In 2003, PACAPIME acquired a significant shareholding in the former Lammers & Van Cleeff Group, now L.C. Also known as Packaging.

PACAPIME is committed to new trends in the corrugated board market, and is open to renewal and investment. As part of this, the company started using high-quality Masterflex printing in 2005,

In 2007, a new corrugated machine was purchased, the largest and most expensive component of the corrugated paper manufacturing process.

Our base stock and production area in Mórahalom total 24,000 m2, while our finished product warehouse covers 9,000 m2. In addition, we have an administration and a logistics office.
